LMS compatibility
Evadely for Blackboard Assessments
Learn how the Evadely macOS overlay works alongside supported Blackboard assessment and proctoring workflows.
How Evadely works with Blackboard
Blackboard is an LMS rather than a single proctor. Evadely compatibility is determined by the exam browser or proctor that your institution launches from Blackboard.
Compatibility reviewed 2026-10-02.
Supported workflows
- Standard visible Blackboard assessment content on macOS
- Supported macOS proctors launched from Blackboard
- Screenshot and chat-based assistance
Current limitations
- Windows support is only verified for Respondus LockDown Browser in the current catalog
- Institution-specific Blackboard themes and tools can differ
Frequently asked questions
Is Blackboard itself a proctor?
No. Blackboard delivers course and assessment content. Your school may add Respondus, Honorlock, ProctorU, or another proctor with separate requirements.
